Roman has been a clinical ultrasound enthusiast from the very beginning. Over the past 20 years, he has been involved in the development of new techniques and participated in numerous congresses around the world. He is particularly interested in post-operative pain management, especially catheter techniques, the prevention of persistent pain after surgery and opioid-sparing anaesthesia techniques.
In addition to his work in the hospital and on the air rescue helicopter, he enjoys spending time with his wife Corinne and their three children in the beautiful surroundings of the Swiss Alps.
